San Diego trip from Hell.. Part 2

The decision was made to do something fun the next day, and try to take the 7pm flight back to phx :) Since by the time we got back to the hotel it was nearly midnight. I wanted to try to enjoy something while we were there! :) Besides the actual wedding of course.
After not being able to sleep all night long! We got up late, grabbed our stuff and headed out. We went to dinner with Gene and Jenny at Denny's Riley was.. a.. not good boy! He was crying and screaming the whole time, refused to eat anything ect. None of us had any money left, so I am sooo Thankful Gene and jenny bought breakfast! :) Everyones credit cards were getting declined right and left! It was so sad :( even the bride and grooms for the hotel room, ours for the rental car, chris and emily's for the hotel room, eventhough they had money on it. It was like all the banks were against us all.

we headed down to the Jolla beach to see the sea lions and play for awhile. when we got down there, it was beautiful, but we had to park 1/2 mile from the sea lions, and the beach was down at the bottom of the huge cliff we were on. so.. to get to the water you had to go down tons of stairs, and there wasnt much sandy space.
there were about 8 sea lions.

Riley and Gracee held hand when we were walking all the way back to the car, it wsa so cute, they looked like they were on a date.



We went to see sharons friends leanne's apt and the pool on her roof.. I reallllly didnt want to go :( I know that sounds bad, but I just wanted to do something fun.. anything fun! but we ended up staying there for hours just killing time waiting to leave.. this is when my attitude got pretty crummy! We should have taken the 8am flight but no one wanted to get up early, so instead we sat at someones house, watching a kids movie while the kids were playing with cat toys and fighting with each other for hours. so Mike, Riley and I went to sit in the car for awhile. to try to improve our moods,. didnt work. but riley was happy, since there were trolly and train tracks just feet from where we parked.

we finally left and got to the rental car place at 445pm, returned the car, walked to the airport, waited in several lines, security was nuts.. to discover we couldnt catch the 7pm flight, so we were scheduled on the 815pm flight,.. which was delayed to 925pm.. so we waiting for hours in the airport, right across from a very loud bar full of crazy people.


This is the ceiling I spent about 3 hours staring at.. and I laerned.. Life is much easier to deal with.. when you listen to your ipod full blast :) You cant hear anything and it almost seems like a crazy movie..
we finally got on the plane, at least it was almost empty and we could have each had our own row!



We got back home at 12:15 :( I am sooo glad that trip is over!! Thank goodness,
We have the wedding reception on friday, but at least its in town, and I am hoping everything goes smoother then this trip did.. But Now we dont have a dime to get them anything :( I suppose we will come up with something.

San Diego trip from Hell.. part 1

We went to San diego for my brother in laws wedding, he wanted to get married on the beach at sunset. The trip started ok, We all got up early and flew Non-res to San Diego. The plane was packed! But the flight attendant did a back flip.. which was pretty cool :) We got to the rental car place after walking what seemed like forever threw crowds of people to find the Thrift Car Rental van. When we got to the rental place We had to wait in a line of 4 people ahead of us.. (not bad) but it took nearly an HOUR! Our estimated total online for 27 hours was $58.00.. we had to upgrade to a van to fit more people.. then the total went to $199.68 my credit card was declined.. So I had to use my other one, which all my bills are scheduled to come out this week. Piling into the rental car Mike was extremly upset. due to the fact that he was going to reserve a van 3 weeks ago, but his mother told him not to that we would all take the trolly, and it would be cheaper! Everyone was tired and irritated, and Riley leaked all the way threw his pants, we got lost trying to find a Taco Bell, then when we were at Taco Bell., mike told me he lost our plane tickets to get home!!! But it was my fault because when he tried to give them to me, I asked him to keep them in his pocket till we got to the hotel.. so I wouldnt lose them!... At this point everyone was upset that we flew there, and didnt just drive like we wanted to.
Found the Hotel, the hilton.. Sharon the (MIL) got us a discount thru her friend leanne, which was very nice :) But the hotel wasnt anything special, just a place to sleep, so we all crashed just a few hours before the wedding.. I woke up to Riley sleeping like this..


We woke up just in enough time to throw on clothes and head to Laci and Adams Hotel.
Riley's shirt was sooo long! and he refused to tuck it in, he wasnt in the best of moods.
The wedding was beautiful, it was short but nice, It was so chilly outside, here are a bunch of pics :) This was one of the only fun things about the trip!

Laci is smacking mike here! he deserved it, he was standing on his toes trying to be taller, then he would slouch down, what a dork! I would have hit him harder if it were our wedding pictures!


One day I am going to get a real Pedi! Instead of doing my own.. I like the french tip thing.

After the wedding, we got together and decided where to go for dinner! :) We went to the Fish Market :) it was really good, and no..to.. expensive.




After dinner we went back to the hotel to crash! We were all trying to figure out which flight to take the next morning, since they all appeared to be pretty packed..
The wedding was good :) Dinner was good, and having Laci in our family is great! She is a geat person and we are so blessed that she wanted to join our family :) I wish they didnt have to move to Texas though :(
..Oh... Mike found blank tickets later in the day so we could fly home, just had to make a bunch of calls to be able to use them, Sometimes its a great thing that he has OCD :)

Girls Day Out

Emily and I went to dinner and to see Bridal Wars.. Its at the the dollar theater and well worth the buck! It was a great movie! Fell good, chick flick movie, one you can watch over and over again! There were so many parts of the movie that reminded me of my friends, Heather and Amy :) I can pick parts for each of us in the movie.
I will buy it when it comes out!! :) .. well... lack of money I might have to wait a few weeks.. Geeze no money gets in the way of lots of stuff :p

Flowers and Balls

Its perfect weather right now for Riley to be outside playing.,, Not to hot but yet warm enough.. not to have to find his pants! He got a watering can on our vacation, Now he takes it everywhere! In the bath, walking around the house, and he loves to water the my flowers outside. he is a sweet boy, I love him so


He got a basketball hoop for his birthday last year! & now he is finally getting allot of use out of it! :) Mike took him to the high school last night to watch Uncle Jason and Rob from mike's work practice basketball. So Riley has been saying all day.. I have to practice mommy.. :) Maybe we have a career ahead of us :) or at least a very expensive high school hobby!.

Its great watching him grow up, learn new words try new things. :) I am a very proud mommy of my little man.

Harlee's birthday party

Happy Birthday Harlee!!




Harlee turned 5 years old today! :) She had her party at Chucke Cheese.
The pizza is kinda yucky, but I like the way they let the kids just run all over, and they have lots of games. It was SOOO hot in there! and tons of kids running around but Riley had a nice time.. he is sooo dramatic lately. I hope his attitude is better for his party in a few weeks.
I didnt get many good pics because I forgot to change my battery in the camera. DUH!

Th employees looked soooooo un-thrilled to be doing there job, and when they had to do the chucke cheese birthday dance, they barley even moved, were looking up and rolling there eyes the whole time.. but after about 2 hours of crazy kids!! I could see why, having to do that 10 times a day, would be a horrible job! But they were teenagers, and have to work there way up to less misrable jobs :)

My first D-Backs Game

It was FOP (faternal order of Police) night at the D-backs game. So we got to sit in the All you can Eat section!! Which was great! Mike ate 9 hotdogs, yes 9!! plus chips, tons and tons of soda, peanuts and popcorn! There was never a line, and we were really close. It was great dinner and activity! :)
I guess I thought it would be more entertaining really.. Most the time I forgot there was even a game going on! :) The score ended like 2-0.. we left early when the score was 1-0, It was Riley's first game, and it was basically free so I am glad we went. :)

Here is mike & me, he is a goof! I suppose he is tired of all my picture taking.. but.. thats what I do here :)

I think Riley had fun, My friend Dee and her hubby Toby were there, Toby had him cracking up making silly faces at him.. and he hasnt stopped making goofy faces at me since we got home.

All & all, it was fun, but I dont think I would go if we had to pay allot, I would rather be playing baseball, instead of watching it. This pic is kinda cool, They had the top open, and the moon looked pretty neat!

A busy girl in a busy world

So I had yesterday and today off! Yesterday we went to the movies, and today.. I went grocery shopping, birthday shopping, Harlee's & Riley's :) Its a busy birthday month.

I made dinner :) awe what a good little wifey I am, I watched shows with my sick husband, which made him happy, I took 2 tests and did homework,I packaged all the scentsy orders and send out totals to the people who got new springy scents :) & are about to be happy!, I boiled eggs


and we decorated easter eggs!!

so after I was cleaning up the pink countertops! I was feeling pretty proud of myself and all that I had accomplished these two days off.. then.. I turned around.. and realized.. why I had so much time to accomplish these things.....

I guess some things have to get skipped when you work full time, full time mom, have a hobby job, go to school part time, and try to run a house :) Dishes arent that important.... but I did do the dishes shortly after this.. its was driving me nuts, But I still have another load! we didnt even have any spoons left! ewe....
oh.. and I downloaded pics to facebook & this posting.. :) I think I deserve some ice cream and a warm bath for all my hard work :)
