Rileys first Race

Nascar is in town this weekend, which is my hubby's favorite hobby!
He decided Friday about noon that it would be fun to take Riley for the qualifying and truck races! So Pop Pop, Mike and Riley were off to the Races!
Mike said Riley did great! He listened, and they had to walk 3 miles!


Michael said at first Riley was upset because it was cold and to loud! But once he got the noisefree headset he was good to go! He does look pretty cute in them!
They had to walk 3 miles back to the car, and he slept over an hour in the truck on the way home, I was at work, but bright and early in the morning he was so excited to tell me all about his first race. :)

I wonder what he is thinking in this picture! what a dorky face lol, But I am so glad he had such a great time!

Chew chew cookies

Riley and I made Train cookies tonight!
We were at walmart and I saw the Train set of cookie cutters, and since my entire cookie cutter collection entales a star, a snowman, and a weird shape I really dont know what its suppose to be... I thought this is one we would use allot with my little train fanatic!


Can you see all the crap on my counter!! Pregnancy has made me lazy and tired.. easier to scoot things, wipe it down and hope I get to it tomorrow :)

Riley was sooo excited! He didnt even argue when I asked him to pick up his toys first! He did a good job! Although I was running short on patience today, it was fun :) and he looked pretty cute with flower all over him.



He was proud of himself and enjoyed sprinkling sugar on the cookies..

Hmmm. not sure why they all look like blobs after they bake.. or riley said most of them looked like Hippo's They were quite tastey!


& Amy I NEED those baking pans! Mine are horrible!!! Maybe I will put some on my Christmas list :) to bad mike doesnt read my blog.

Oragano's, then grounded!

We went to Oragano's last week for Emily and Gene's birthday :)

We had a party of 10, and I hate when they cant seat us all together , so we had to be at 2 different booths, back to back. right next to the kitchen! ,... loud kitchen,

We got to seat right when we got there! which is a first for me. The food took over an hour though. sooooooo there was waiting, it was good though :)

& all the portions are HUGE!

Riley didnt listen the whole time, he was bouncing around, climbing over the seats, being loud, not eating his dinner, Mike wasnt feeling good, by about 30 mins in I had a horrible headache and was ready to leave.

The "child" would not listen to us at all. & that is nor normal for him, usually he is such a great kid!

You can even see in this picture.. he is being... difficult.. and sneaky..

So when we got in the truck to come home, we had a long time.. and this was the first time.. He is officially GROUNDED.. No computer games for the rest of the night! and he was only allowed to play in one room. No snacks, and no soda of anykind for he rest of the night.

he was so upset! and I know he really felt bad about it because he kept saying "im so so sorry for not listening to you" I'll never get grounded again" he fell asleep on the way home, and when michael picked him up to bring him inside he woke up all sad, and said "fadder im so sorry i didnt listen" :( It made us sad, but he did so good the rest of the night, and in the morning he jumped out of bed, and asked if he could play computer games today! :) So we made it, he has been pretty good ever sense, and I hope we dont have to ground him again for a very long time!

I cant imagine when he gets older, and the punishments get worse. how hard that will be..

Wow Wow Meow & Tony

Halloween!!! I love Holidays! :) I'm so very thankful that I had the day off and could once again take Riley out! Thats the bad thing about working nights at a 24/7 job. You just have to pray the holidays fall on your days off!


Riley saw the Wow Wow Wubbzy costume and walmart & just had to have it!! I didnt want to buy it, But he wanted it so bad he actually worked for it, doing chores around the house. He loved it! & it looked cuter then I thought.
























Riley wanted me to dress up too,. I wasnt going to this year, So I ran to walgreens and picked up a set of ears :) it worked and turned out ok. I think I make a cute kitty cat :)





















Mike was Tony Stewart!!??... Yep I know I was shocked also lol, one day I will get him in a real costume!.























We went to sharon's house and had dinner with her, her friends Steve and Chad, Emily & Family and Laci,


then we went walking around the area trick or treating!

Riley was so scared the first house! he hid behind me, but after that he did a great job! & ran to each house!

We got home a bit late and I still have 15 premade bags of candy! :( We didnt give out any candy this year! Maybe next year. But Mike is reallly happy that we have 2 huge bowls full of candy for him to dive into! :)

1 ER visit, 2 Pumkins and a little face paint!

Wow, its been awhile since I have blogged. But with the SWINE flu and sickness in the family there hasnt been much to say or much energy to say it :)

I had been having cramps for about a week or so, and of course my Dr called said I had a UTI, and they would call in antibiotics to walgreens, but I didnt pick them up for a few days, and the cramps got worse so on Sunday night I left work early and went to Mtn Vista Medical to make sure everything was ok, There was only 3 people in the waiting room, yet I was there for 4 hours! :P the Dr was SO MEAN!! and said my UTI was getting worse and if I would have waited another week I would have been in the hospital with a kidney infection!. So I am thankful that I did go :) The next day I went to get my meds the Dr called in to walgreens, and of course after waiting in the drive thru line for nearly 40 mins, they say they never recieved the call in :( but my wonderful husband surprised me, picked up the meds and drove them all the way to work for me! :) I am soo Thankful for him! He is awesome.

AFter taking my meds, and being over the sickness and being able to breath.. well out of one side of my face :)
I was able to get 4 straight hours of sleep! what a difference that makes! I felt great today! :)

so Riley and I had plans to carve pumpkins!!

Laci came over and brought another pumpkin...since I am a crazy driver, and the one I got broke open on the way to work one day.. I always forget to take things out of my car..


We had a good time, and our pumpkins turned out great!!

Riley attempted to scrape the pumpkin guts out,


but refused to grab it with his hands. and he gave up when it touched him and he felt the slimeyness! He is just like his dad! LOL,

After we did the pumkins I promised Riley he could paint my face :)


I thought it might be a good idea because he is afraid to get his painted anywhere we go. So it worked he painted mine and he let me paint his!


:) and then being the crazy laid back mom I am, i let him paint alll over himself :)

then we took a bath!! we needed one, dust, dirt, pumpkins guts, face paint!! :)
But we had a great time! then Mike came home and we ordered pizza, and watched our shows, I love days off! :) I makes me so thankful for my family! & the little things we get to share together.

On saturday Riley made dinner!! :) Yes he did, well 90% of the work, I just gave him direction :)

We had BBQ chicken in the oven, Aug Gratin Potatos, and corn.

I cut the chicken open and placed it in the pan. and of course put it in the oven, and turned on the stove and the ovenon, He did the rest!! It was so cute to see him stir the potatos with his left hand, and open the can of corn with the electric can opener with his right at the same time! He is going to be a good little cook one day! & he ate a piece and a half of chicken! it was really good, but I think he was so proud that he made it, he ate it all! :)

Pumpkin Festival & a cold...

We went to the Pumpkin Festival this week. and I have a horrible yucky mean cold! It makes my whole face scratchy, red, dry, and snotty. cant sleep, cant breath, cant eat.. lol ok.. I can still eat :) There isnt much that would stop me from doing that.


The weather is getting cooler, my husband's mood is getting better, and there are so many activities to do! no money to do them, so we have to live cheap and still figure out how to have a great time! :)



The Pumpkin Festival is great! So much fun, and there is so much to do!
Even though I had a horrible cold I still went, and spent the night sneezing, coughing, and exhausted, but had a good time watching the kids.




They have great lemonade and cotton candy.. I could only taste it if I walked around really fast for a min, then took a drink or bite :) but it was worth it!


When we were sitting on the hay bails taking pictures somehow the hay poked thru my pants and I ended up walking around for awhile with staw itching my butt!!

They have free kids rides! and the little roller coaster, Riley laughed the whole time, he is such a thrill seeker! He loves them! :) & it went a bit faster then I remember, but I had fun too!.


This bee ride.. every little bee went up, except mike and RIleys. mike said, he could feel the little bee trying so hard to lift them with no luck LOL it was so funny watching mike trying to get in and out of the bee :)

We also road the train.. of course! there are kids that dress up in scary costumes and jump out and scare you on the train, Mike taught riley to yell back at them, so it was like a game so he didnt get scared. :)
Before we road the train, the kids ran around, and the boys.. played on their phone :)

we watched the pig races.. kind of odd.. less entertaining then I thought it would be.


the kids.. including mike and chris, road the tricycles on the small race track.. riley couldnt reach the peddles so I had to push him around.. running as fast as I could while Riley steered, I thought, what the heck is the sick pregnant girl doing pushing a 3 year old around a race track! Duh!




we listened to the band for awhile, the girls danced around. a few mins before Riley went down a slide and it was like someone had greased it, he went flying several feet in the air and hit the ground. he cried so hard, and didnt even jump up afterwards like he usually does, he just laid there, so i ran to get him, he was so sad and didnt want to do anything the rest of the night.,

My BIG BOY!!!

Riley is in a Booster seat!!! :)
Its so cool!! he can get himself in and out! all I have to do it buckle him in :)
He loves it, and so do I, Its easy to take wherever we go, and I dont have to lift him everytime. :) I am so proud of him.. today I was being a grouch because I was sick and I had to go to work. so I snapped at him, He said.. "I'm worried about you mother" Awe, my sweet boy! He has been calling me mother, but it sounds like Mudder, and father, but fadder :) its so cute :)

Freestone Park!

We went to freestone park, and met my uncle mark on saturday! I Love this place! But.. it was homecoming, and there were at least 100 people in dresses.. well ok they looked like sparkly underwear, not dresses! and there mothers were there taking hundreds of pictures! On the only bridge/pathway threw the park, so everyone had to wait to cross, for high school kids, those dresses were skimpy . short and tight! I will never let my daughter go out looking like that! Oh MY!

Iv come to the conclusion that I look like a retard when I try to take a picture of myself and someone else! LOL oh well :)

Here is Paigey!! She left today for New York for a few months :( Im so sad and going to miss her, But I know that she has allot of things in her life to work out. and I Hope this time, she does better :)


Riley ran all the way down the giant hill, then up again on the other side. he would sit for a min and run all the way back! He did great. and he slept really good that night! Then we went to ride the train, and while we were waiting we fed the ducks popcorn! :)

Mike took care of Noah :) They had a good time :) and it gets michael back into the baby mode since we will be having another in 7 months or so.

it was a nice time, but crazy that it costs 3 bucks per person to ride! :)
Riley LOVED it of course! :) by the time we got off the train, it was so dark! They hardly have any lights after dark, which is nice,but hard to do anything when there are so many people still on the playground area, and at the tables. It was a good time! and basically for FREE! Free is great! :)
Since the weather is getting better everyday we need to go more often.
