AhH.. Don't Pull I can do it Myself!!

So, Riley Loves walking down the stairs, and up the stairs and over things and under things! All the time. I try to be a good patient mom and let him walk all over when we get out of the house. (which hasn't been much lately).... We start out going down the first step! Which he does GREAT! with a smile and everything




then we pause for about a min or so, thinking about the next step, and the process it will take to get down it...


another min....... here we go.. attempting to scoot closer to the edge.... scoot scoot scoot... pause.. scoot... pause look around.... oooooh someone walked by.. watching the person walk by about a min.,...





ok.. mom is getting tired of waiting.. "lets go sweets! You can do it!! yay! almost there!" .. another min.. scoot scoot.. pause look step back.... grrrrrr mom growls.. "we have to go Riley, your almost there, lets go peanut, your doing great!" ....... pause hey....

Don't pull!!!! I can do it myself!!!! wait...


mom gets tired of waiting and carries me instead! :)

Do you remember the movie newsies with all the cute kids dancing and singing in vintage wear! :) Riley was wearing my sister Paige's hat while they were playing and looks like he is starring in the re-make!

This week is going to be busy!! Mike has the whole week so and I intend to cram as much as I can into 5 whole days!! Poor guy he is going to be sick of me when this week is over! :) Oh well that's what wives are for.. I read it in the National Association for 21st century wives handbook. :)

Yesterday My sister Paige & Heather and the boys came over for Pumpkins and Pizza! I think the adults had more fun then the kids!

Riley was afraid to get yucky and would barley touch the pumpkin! He was way more interested in the sharpie's and knives!!


It was a fun night! with a few fun creations in the end!

I know!! its white!! It wasnt yesterday but, today... I figured since you are coming over tomorrow you might ask if you could clean it again, so I better get it done..
Are you proud?? I hate cleaning my stove, so I feel fully accomplished today! :)

Trying on our costume!

We tried on our costume a few days ago. At first it was fun!! :) but then Riley realized that monkey's dont have fingers and can't pick things up. He cried and cried till I took it off. OH NO!!!!! I hope he wears it for a little while on Halloween.... maybe candy will change his attitude......

At the Races!!

Last night we went to the dirt car races. Riley had a good time eventhough it was super loud!! When the cars go around the track mud, and dirt flies into the stand. I got wacked in the shoulder with a golf ball size mud rock. It hurt and the mud got stuck in my hair. We were covered in dirt by the time it was over, in our ears and when I changed riley it was in his diaper!! I have no idea how that happened. The last race was really loud because there was 24 cars all together, it scared the child a bit and he leaked right though his diaper all down my jeans! YUCK!But, it was an "interesting" time, as long as my boys had fun thats all that counts!

Cleaning.. a family affair

I recently found out my son is addicted to the vacuum cleaner. :) which should be a good thing, but she whines like a fire truck when I turn it off or put it away. At least he wants to help. :) and he looks pretty cute doing it so why not. Now if I could only get to him to do the dishes I would be a very happy woman, since my husband does all the laundry.
